Information

What Pint Prep collects

Account information

Email address, account identifiers, and provider session identifiers are used for sign-in, private sync, support, and account administration.

Recipe and kitchen content

Recipes, import drafts, source notes, ingredients, macro estimates, freezer plans, texture logs, next-adjustment notes, and optional photo links are treated as user content.

Support and feedback

Support emails, privacy requests, and feedback submissions can include contact details, issue descriptions, and any screenshots or examples you choose to send.

Product interaction data

First-party product interaction events and privacy-safe web analytics help confirm that core flows work and diagnose failed imports, saves, syncs, and launch checks.

Cookies and local storage

Authentication, session, and preference cookies or equivalent storage keep the web app signed in and remember app state.

How we use information

Pint Prep uses data to provide recipe capture, import review, private recipe saving, freezer planning, texture logging, account sync, support, security, and product-quality measurement.

Ingredient search terms may be sent to nutrition-data providers such as USDA FoodData Central so Pint Prep can return ingredient matches and macro provenance.

Raw imported recipe payloads and private recipe text should not be used for advertising or sold as data products.

Sharing and tracking

Pint Prep may use service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, support email, ingredient lookup, and analytics. Those providers process data only to operate Pint Prep services.

The V1 launch posture uses first-party analytics and privacy-safe Google Analytics events. Optional PostHog forwarding only runs if configured, and transactional email providers such as Resend are deferred until product email ships.

Pint Prep does not sell personal information and does not use collected data for cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Retention

Recipe content and account records are kept while the account is active or as needed to operate the service, resolve support issues, comply with legal obligations, and prevent abuse.

Share-extension inputs are used to create review drafts and are kept only as needed for the import workflow and user-controlled recipe history.

The iOS prototype may keep drafts, saved recipes, freezer items, texture logs, and pending analytics events on device so sync can recover after offline use; data sent to the API follows the account retention rules above.

Your choices

You can request access, correction, export, deletion, or other privacy help by emailing Pint Prep support from the address connected to your account when possible.

Some records may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, backup integrity, or abuse prevention.

Privacy contact

Email hello@pintprep.com for privacy requests, account deletion, export help, or policy questions. Do not include passwords, tokens, or private recipe text you do not have rights to share.
